There is no assembly required like some other chairs.I paid $20 for this chair and about $25 for shipping. That considered it is fair. I resorted to putting some folded cardboard underneath it, so it doesn't roll over. If you are over 5'5" you with fall backwards in this chair if you try to sit upright. Better for a kid than an adult. If you are willing to do some work on it, it is ok. I may yet tear apart the speakers to see if they can be repaired. The speakers are totally garbage, they hissed and buzzed the first time I plugged them in. Otherwise, it is fairly comfortable and it is nice that it folds up and can be stored away.
signed, very pleased recommend them to any one. I purchesed 2 of these chairs for my kids to sit in while playing video games. When the chairs arrived I was shocked at how heavy duty they were built.I am 6-foot 275lb and the chairs hold up to me using them.the sound from the speakers is also very good. Would deff.
If you're looking for a chair, this is the one. It is also very comfortable. My son has only had it for a week, but has used it everyday. We've hooked the tv, ps2 and psp to it, but it also hooks up to dvd players, mp3 players, and practically any audible device you might have.
This chair looks even nicer than the picture. We didn't see anything in the stores that were anywhere as nice as this and was so accessible and easy to use. He loves hooking the tv up to it when watching sports; with a speaker on either side of his ear, he feels like he's right there in the stands. It is sort of like a velour-ish material that looks very nice in my son's room.
The sound is very clear - no static at all. And for the price, it's even worth the shipping cost. It is much wider than any of the other video chairs that we've seen in the stores. As far as technology, it was easy to hook up and is compatable with almost any audio device.
That part is of no value and too much trouble for kids. Material torn, just from use. Bought 2 of these for media room. Fabric did not hold up well at all. Do not recommend at all. Okay at first. No need to hook up.
